a third party installer fitted the tyres for Lloyds and i thought the fitter was inappropriately dressed when he went into the centre as he was exceptionally filthy.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We have a specialist tyre fitter to avoid alloy damage and as per our phone conversation he has no need to enter any of our customer vehicles. In addition all our customer vehicles are fitted with seat, floor ands stearing wheel covers on arrival at the centre. I hope this gives you piece of mind for any future visits. The centre could not accomodate my need to carry out the work on a Saturday and the service manager was rude and patronising.

We will always try to accommodate requests at short notice, however, on this occasion we were unable to see your car until the following weekend. The service indicator had not been reset when I collected the car, then when it was reset when I went home I found that some sort of software update had been done, erasing my phone and preferences from the car's memory.

The service manager was going to call BMW head office to seek some goodwill for replacing the drive chain. I haven't heard anything from him, despite saying he would look in to this urgently, as the part is most likely to fail.

BMW review their cases on their own individual merit and unfortunately based on age and miles in this case it was rejected. Service is always very good, but have left .3 as there's always slight room for improvement or for costs to be slightly less expensive for private/non business customers with an older car like myself...

BMW do offer Value Line pricing for brake repair and service work on older vehicles which you benefitted from on this visit, however, we are always happy to discuss and review our prices and would always look to help with repair costs wherever possible.
