Car booked in for MoT and Service. On arrival informed only MoT required. Car has service package, however, it became apparent that due to the mileage aspect it could never keep to the criteria set at the last service (50k miles).

I was not told that it would take longer than expected for my replacement tyres to arrive. I had a wasted 120 mile round trip to collect my car because nobody told me that the correct tyres had not come in. One simple phone call could sort this.

As you would expect from Bmw, really professional service on the repair, however, I couldn't get my car back until I had replaced the two front tyres (costing £334.95 my cost) as they were the incorrect speed rating which has no effect on roll radius

BMW are supportive of mechanical issues after a warranty expires. However a vehicle from a private seller influences the decision as opposed to when a vehicle is purchased from an approved centre where a 12month warranty would come with the vehicle. On this occasion we recovered the majority of the costs from BMW for you & replaced your transfer box, this now comes with a 2year warranty. BMW insisted on the approved tyres as a condition of there goodwill gesture. Kind Regards, Craig Bowers HOB.

As question 1. I was asked to bring my car back to have the scratch fixed. I refused as i was not going out my way on a 100 mile round trip to get something sorted that should of been noticed before hand over. Nobody has been in touch again.
